Timidity770 is progress

Just some remarks.
Meanwhile, I was successful in modifying the older, perfomant version of timidity such that one could use it with the GTK2 interface. Furthermore, I started hildonization of the GUI.
As the original layout is not very useful on the Nokia770 (the buttons were way too small), I've
changed the button layout and size as well.

Here is how it currently looks like:

As you can see, the 64x64 pixel buttons are
rather primitive, as I was busy with other things.
So, if you want to contribute, just let me know.

Hi! Nice to see your work on timidity. It's used in a couple of games like xu4 (Ultima 4 Project remake) Which i'm working on (see http://pupnik.de/xu4770.html). I don't see what your performance issues are with the default timidity settings - they start out high, but as the program runs, they quickly drop down. Using 2.13.2 with default high quality settings and esd sound daemon on the ultima4 midi files, i had 19% cpu and no dropouts. Using --no-anti-alias -OeM -s 22050 -EFresamp=d i averaged between 6 and 9% cpu, after the intial full-load. This is probably related to the files being primitive, so i expect you're right that other effects such as chorus and reverb should be disabled for best performance. Lastly, how is it coming for the hildonized gui? It would be useful to have an optimized command-line deb file for game support. If you can provide one for os2006 that'd be great, otherwise i guess i could have a go at it.

Cheers
